The Challenge

Leads disappeared into a black box

Before EverDwell, MassHousing program staff had no direct visibility into what happened to a lead once it was handed off to a loan officer. Leads disappeared into a black box, with no way to confirm they’d been contacted, no way to track where they sat in the pipeline, and no way to measure program performance in real time. For a program with real political and public accountability, that’s not a minor operational gap. It’s a reporting risk.

The Solution

End-to-end visibility, no extra work for officers

MassHousing deployed EverDwell to give program administrators real-time, end-to-end visibility into lead-to-close pipeline tracking, without adding work for the loan officers actually working the leads. Onboarding was designed to be lightweight: live walkthroughs, short recorded videos, and direct support from the EverDwell training team, with no disruption to existing loan officer workflows.

Launch Results

A program that moved fast and kept moving

The numbers tell the story of a program that moved fast and kept moving. The first lead was delivered to a loan officer just 10 minutes after launch. Within the first two weeks, more than 1,000 leads had been sent to loan officers across the program. And the pipeline didn’t just fill up. It converted: the first matched loan closed just 44 days after launch.

Program Staff Perspective

For the first time, we have insight into what leads we are driving to our partners and the ability to truly measure the success of marketing campaigns. We are excited to use this data to better inform our marketing and to make sure we are doing everything possible to help people realize their dreams of homeownership.

What Loan Officers Said

4.25 out of 5, and no one called it confusing

Early feedback from MassHousing loan officers has been consistently positive. Onboarding satisfaction and post-onboarding confidence both averaged 4.25 out of 5 among initial respondents, with no one reporting the process as confusing.

What's Next

Early rollout, with room to scale

MassHousing's rollout is still early, and the momentum so far points toward what's possible as the program matures. Looking ahead, that includes exploring EverDwell's Lead-to-Close Training to help loan officers convert even more qualified buyers, along with expanded reporting as the program scales.
